Chester Row

I live about an hours drive from the city of Chester, which started as a Roman fortified town and has grown ever since. Being such a large and very old city it has wonderful and diverse architecture with many buildings still surviving from hundreds of years ago. Eastgate and Bridge streets are two of the city centre's main streets and are built in a large part from Tudor / Medieval buildings, which are still in use today as shops.

It was these lovely shops that I modeled Chester Row on. I know they're not an exact match - far from it but these pictures will show you where I got the design from.
